Kaju Katli or Cashew Barfi is a popular Indian sweet recipe made from Cashew powder and sugar syrup. <br /> <br />Ingredients: <br /> <br />1/4th Cup Water <br />1/2 Cup Sugar <br />1 Cup Cashew Powder <br />Orange Food Color <br />Green Food Color <br />Edible Silver Foil <br /> <br />Method: <br /> <br />- To make the sugar syrup, in a sauce pan add sugar and water. Let the sugar and water boil. When it comes to a "one thread consistency" switch off the flame. <br />- Add the cashew powder. Mix everything well. <br />- Spread the mixture on all sides of the pan and let it cool down completely. <br />- Divide the mixture in three parts. Keep one part aside. <br />- Add orange color to second part and mix well. Roll out a medium size flat roti. Apply the silver foil and cut it into pieces. <br />- Similarly follow the above step for third green color part.
